"It's Been 84 Years..."

I honestly can't even believe it's been months since I've last written a blog post. Oops.

My life has been mildly crazy since February ended.

March was a month filled with trying to figure out where we were going to get away for a bit.

Should we go on a slambang European excursion for a full month and see all sorts of things? IMG_1881IMG_1881

While tempting, this option sounded utterly exhausting. Plus when I do go see these countries I don't want to quickly whip through them and see only the classic 'touristy' parts. I want a real feel for the countries themselves - time for wanderings, exploring, discovering yummy food, all that stuff.

So with a giant tour off the table, which country would we like to visit and do a deep dive?

Personally it was quite an easy choice: Ireland. As a competitive Irish dancer for over 20 years, this is a place I've always dreamed of visiting. I wanted to experience Dublin and have the big city vibe but also see the countryside and smaller villages to really round it out.

We booked the tickets and my heart soared.

Another dream was about to come true.

(I'll be writing individual posts going more in-depth on my Ireland trip soon. Plus I'm editing an almost 20 minute vlog - in fact, took a break from audio mixing to write this lil thang.)

April was spent entirely in the Emerald Isle and I loved it so much, my summer has consisted of me casually hopping back and forth over the Irish sea.

My fear of flying? Basically conquered. Nervousness about being in a big city on my own? I can now do it no problem. The past few months have involved so much personal growth that when I look at myself in the mirror, I feel that I literally look different.

As life changes, I'm leaning into it.

All challenges now accepted.
